adopte.app — Senior Front-end Developer

12 years on a single consumer product (over 10 million users, 13 countries across Europe and Latin America). From the legacy-to-React migration to owning the design system.

Led the progressive migration of the legacy front-end (PHP/CodeIgniter + jQuery) to React, under strong business constraints and with no service interruption.
Started and grew the internal design system (~20 foundation components plus complex ones), which became the team's UI reference.
Designed and built solo the front-end of Cosmic Love Space Agency (2021): collecting love letters flown on a Falcon 9 (SpaceX) to the ISS. 40,000+ collected, 400,000 people engaged, 1,000 sent to space.
Designed the notification system (visits, messages, favourites) with a progressive-interval polling strategy, cutting server load by 10%.
Internationalised the application and the responsive payment funnel across 13 countries (Europe and Latin America).
Built reusable JavaScript modules at application scale (clean separation between business logic and UI components).
